The Efficacy of FastAct®
Development of FastAct® began nearly two decades ago. Leon Wortham, a research biochemist from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) saw a need and began development. By 2000, Wortham had developed FastAct® and begun pursuing approval for professional use. He received such approval from the Community of Europe (CE) in 2001. He then began the lengthy United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval process in 2002, the same year that the first open-heart surgery was successfully performed in Peru using FastAct®.
More than 5,000 documented consecutive successful human and animal surgeries, in addition to countless anecdotal experiences by professionals routinely arresting bleeding, have proven that FastAct® is effective on all types of bleeding. Testing has been conducted by Wortham’s alma mater, at the prestigious David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA Center for Advanced Surgical and Intervention Technology (CASIT) Research Facilities and at other institutions around the globe.
The efficacy of FastAct® is supported by hundreds of independent reports and videos. Unanimously, the conclusion is that FastAct® works reliably when properly applied. READ MORE>>>
